You may have heard of a little series called “Hoax Hunters” that we like to cover around these parts. It’s a very fun title that explores urban myths and various cryptid folklore. Of course, the trick is that everything they explore is very real — it’s their job to protect the world and then prove that everything was just a hoax to keep the public docile! And as the first arc wraps, the gang prepares for a new arc called “Haunchyville” where they will be exploring the truth behind reported sightings of gnomes.

Coming on the heels of a dialogue-heavy and expository first issue, does “Hoax Hunters” #2 continue in the same vein? All signs point to “yes” as Moreci, Seeley and Medellin settle on an uneasy compromise between character development and action.
