You know, I don’t know about anyone else, but I would kill to get my hands on one of IDW’s Artist Edition books. Maybe it’s just my collecting nature or the fact that I get to see a book’s art as it was originally created, I’m not sure, but there’s even better nes for all of you collector’s out there: IDW is launching IDW Limited, a line of limited, collector’s editions of their catalogue of books.

My first comic was TMNTA #38, when I was seven years old. I followed the series as regularly as I could until its cancellation at number 72. IDW is reprinting that old series, so let’s see how it stacks up to my nostalgia.

Multiversity’s Got You Covered: Week of 6/20/12
Another week, another edition of MC’s Got You Covered. Let’s get straight into what amounts to another very solid week of covers from some of the best in the business.
Dave Sim Draws A Brand New Ninja Turtle
Ok, not entirely.
Here’s the story: with the success of the Cerebus Kickstarter (which we’ve already told you about and you’ve already donated to, right?), a few notable names have joined Sim to help raise money for the endeavor. Given that the goal has already been passed, Sim and Kickstarter runner John Scrudder are now aiming for $200k, with the goal being to publish all of Cerebus in the digital format. To do this, they have been joined by folks like Bob Burden (creator of the Flaming Carrot) and Kevin Eastman (co-creator of the Ninja Turtles) to do a print with Sim for those willing to donate $50 to the Kickstarter.
So what does this image include? It includes the four turtles we know and love as drawn by Eastman as well as a brand new turtle named Matisse, as drawn by Sim.
