You all went and bought “Captain Marvel” #1, right? We hope you did — the book and “Avenging Spider-Man” #9 sold-out, proving that you do want to read some good comics week after week with female leads. Featuring an exciting and upgraded take on the classic Avenger, Kelly Sue DeConnick and Dex Soy’s “Captain Marvel” was a great start to what will hopefully be a great run and long-lasting run on the title.
So to help whet your appetite for the future adventures of Carol “Captain Marvel” Danvers, how about a preview of the second issue?

Comics Should Be Cheap! (7/18/2012)
Buying comics can be an expensive hobby. A lot of fans simply can’t afford everything they’re interested in, due to rising prices and the over-saturation of the market with superhero titles.
That’s why we’re here. Every week, the Multiversity staff is asked “What would you buy this week if you couldn’t go over $20?” and shares their reasons why, in order to help others who might have similar tastes make their own decisions in buying comics on a budget. Be sure to leave your own picks in the comments!
